About

Eisa Shunnara

Flooring industry expert and business builder. Birmingham, Alabama.

Twenty-four years inside the industry

Eisa Shunnara has spent 24 years in the flooring industry, working across high-end residential flooring, light commercial projects, builders, imported rugs, tile, and stone. That breadth gives him a working understanding of how products, suppliers, customers, and installation come together.

Issis & Sons

At Issis & Sons, his family's business, Eisa helped expand from one store to three and from approximately $5 million to more than $30 million in business. The growth was achieved organically, with practically zero dollars spent on marketing — built on service, trust, and execution. He also built issishome.com, the company's e-commerce storefront.

More than 100 suppliers

Over his career Eisa has worked with more than 100 suppliers, which shaped his perspective on purchasing, product selection, relationships, and the details that make partnerships work.

A CFO's perspective

Eisa thinks about flooring businesses the way a CFO does: profitability, cash flow, purchasing, resources, and workflow — not just sales. That operational lens guides how he evaluates both opportunities and problems.

Flooring technology and integration

His technology experience spans multiple generations of flooring software, including RFMS since 1995, Cyncly, Roomvo, Measure Square, the e-commerce storefront issishome.com, and custom software designed to sit above existing systems and improve execution.

RepConnect

In 2024, Eisa created RepConnect. Following a pilot with a large manufacturer, he moved beyond the family business to focus on helping flooring businesses and industry partners across the United States, Canada, and international markets, including London.

Books

Eisa is the author of BE THE ANSWER, which explores how businesses serve customers and build meaningful relationships, and Find Your Edge, on building a personal advantage that compounds.

Family, faith, and service

Eisa has been married to his wife, Tanya, for 20 years, and they are raising two teenage sons. His Christian faith is central to his life. He has taught middle-school Sunday school, founded The Kings Men within the Melkite Catholic community, and serves through volunteer board work and charitable involvement.
